Marbelous Birthday Cards

Hello! Samantha here, and today I have something a little bit different for you. I have a set of 3 Marbelous birthday cards. I wanted to show you how many different options you have for card making with Paper House Stickers. All the cards use Marbelous paper as their base, they all use the same basic layout for the card, and they’re all even the same theme. However, by mixing and matching different types of stickers you get very different looks for each card.

Since I’m sharing 3 different cards today, I’ll share a photo of each individual card and list the supplies right afterwards.

Supplies: Marbelous 12″ Paper Pad, Birthday 3D Stickers, Kawaii Hearts Faux Enamel Stickers

This is the most elegant of the cards. I chose a to use some of the Marbelous card stock that has gold foil to match the gold in the 3D sticker and faux enamel stickers.

Supplies: Marbelous 12″ Paper Pad, Emoji Birthday 3D Sticker, Kawaii Not? Washi Tape, Kawaii Not? Rice Paper Borders, Kawaii Epoxy Stickers, Kawaii Cupcakes Puffy Clips

This card is a bit more fun. I created texture by using a puffy clip for my focal point and a 3D sticker for my greeting. To create the border I paired a shiny silver rice paper with some cupcake washi tape.

Supplies: Marbelous 12″ Paper Pad, Magical Faux Enamel Sticker,Kawaii Not? Rice Paper Borders, Kawaii Epoxy Stickers

This last card is completely whimsical, as I made it with my soon to be 5 year old niece in mind. A little rainbow rice paper is the perfect starting point for some magical stickers. This card uses mostly flat stickers (I sneaked in a small enamel heart) to make it easy to mail, but the fun faux enamel sticker adds a special touch to the card.

There you have it; a trio of Marbelus birthday cards.

Quick & Easy Cards with Sticky Pix

Laura Cox Circle PH 2018

Hi everyone!  Laura here with you today!  Sharing some quick and easy card ideas using the Paper House Sticky Pix Cardstock Stickers!  They are great to use on your LO’s, but also make amazing cards!

Marbleous Cards by Laura C 2018

These stickers are from the It Takes Two Sticky Pix Cardstock Sticker pack.  It has so many different options, and I love that it has sayings too, that work for LO’s or cards!

The alphas included in the sticker set make it easy to add a sentiment to your cards or titles to your LO’s…..great to have that flexibility!  The foiled outlines on some of the stickers add a pretty touch, like the flowers here, and the attention to detail on these images is perfect….isn’t the two-seat bike adorable?!!

Paper House has so many amazing paper pads to choose from, and the Marbleous 12×12 paper pad is the perfect compliment to the It Takes Two Sticky Pix!  The pretty marbled papers make an awesome background and add texture to the cards with their gorgeous colors.

One of the things I love, you can layer these stickers up as I did with the bicycle card, or you can keep it super clean and simple like this I love you card:

It uses one of the sentiments, and a few of the cute heart stickers.  Quick and simple!  Cardmaking made easy…..it doesn’t get much more simple then that!   Great to have these sticker packs on hand if you need to make a card in just a few minutes!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you are inspired to give the Sticky Pix Cardstock Stickers a try!  You can find them HERE in the Paper House store!

Decorative Candy Box

Katie King CircleHello Everyone! How many times does someone (either a friend or co-worker) do something for you or help you out in some way? Do you ever wish that you could give them something special as a mini thank you? Well, I recently had this happen to me and I wanted to thank my friend for my making an awesome recommendation. So, today, I am going to show you how easy it is to turn some plain candy boxes into an extra special thank you gift!

I got the idea to do this project when I wanted to thank a friend for recommending an accountant for my business. I had been trying to find a good accountant for a while and my friend ended up recommended a great accountant for my small business. As a thank you, I wanted to get her some of her favorite candy. However, instead of just giving her the boxes of candy, I wanted to make them extra special!

To do this, I decided to use the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad and combine some of the regular scrapbooking paper along with one of the scrapbook quotes This project was super easy to put together and probably took me less than 20 minutes. Also, adding the scrapbooking paper really made the regular candy boxes look a bit more ”fancy”!

To create your own Decorative Candy Boxes, you would do the following:

Step 1

Step 1: Measure the front of your candy box and cut out a piece of scrapbooking paper that fits those measurements. Then cut out one of the quotes that can be found in the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad.

For my candy box, I used the ”Enjoy Every Moment” quote and a sheet of the green/gold marble paper.

Step 2

Step 2: Attach your main paper piece to the front of your candy box (I used Scrapbook Adhesives Mini Dots by 3L). Then punch two holes on either side of your scrapbook quote.

Step 3

Step 3: Run some embroidery thread through your scrapbook quote and tie it around your candy box.

Once you have tied off your embroidery thread, simply fill out a thank you card, and you are ready to give your gift!

I loved how this project turned out and I think its such an easy way to make a simple gift a bit more special!

Before I go, I did want to mention one tip about the candy boxes.

You may have noticed, that there were two candy boxes stacked together in this project. If you decide to give away more than 1 box of candy, my tip would be to add five Scrapbook Adhesives Mini Dots (one in each of the corners and one in the middle) on the top of the second candy box. Then add the first candy box on top of the second candy box. By doing this, your candy boxes will stay together and not slide around.

Mini Canvas Clock Featuring Enamel Stickers

Katie King CircleHi everyone! As many of you already know, I love making home décor projects that don’t require a billion different supplies and that are easy to create. On my own blog, one home décor project that I tend to make over and over is clocks. I love making my own clocks because 1) they are easy to make and 2) they are a great way to show off your favorite craft supplies,  Since Paper House Productions has recently come out with a bunch of cute new products, I thought it be fun to show you how easy it is to make your own clock!

Today, I am going to show you how to make your own Mini Canvas Clock! This clock was created using a couple of differnt Paper House products, but the star of the show is definitely Paper House’s Enamel Stickers. If you are not familiar with the Enamel Stickers, they are brand new to Paper House and are just so adorable! Each Enamel Sticker pack has a specific theme and contains about 10 to 13 stickers which are very vibrant in color. For today’s project, as you can probably guess, I chose to use the Llamas Faux Enamel Stickers!

Mini Canvas Clock Featuring Enamel Stickers

To create your own Mini Canvas Clock featuring Enamel Stickers, you would do the following:

Step 1

Step 1: Grab your 5-inch by 5-inch canvas and make a mark in the center of your canvas (this center would be at 2 ½ inches). Then take your awl and poke a hole where you made your mark in the center of your canvas. When poking the hole, you will want to make it big enough, so your main clock piece can go through.

Note- I decided to use an awl because we are essentially poking a hole through some thin canvas and cardboard. However, if you didn’t want to use an awl, you could also use a drill for this step instead.

Step 2

Step 2: Grab some scrapbooking paper (from the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad) that will match your stickers and cut out a 5-inch by 5-inch piece. Then glue that piece to your canvas (using your favorite adhesive) and re-poke the hole in the middle. Finally, add some washi tape around the edges of the canvas, to give it a more finished look. The washi tape that I used in this project was the thin gold washi tape from the Wine Washi Tape Set.

Step 3

Step 3: Now grab your enamel stickers (I’m using the Llamas Faux Enamel Stickers) and decide which four stickers you want to use. Then place your chosen four stickers where 12, 3, 6 and 9 would be on your canvas.

Once you are done decorating your canvas, add in your clock kit and you are now ready to display your new clock!

Mini Canvas Clock Featuring Enamel Stickers 2

The nice thing about this project is that you can customize the whole thing from beginning to end. For example, besides changing the paper/stickers, you could also change the size of the canvas to create a bigger clock. Also, since most of the Enamel Sticker packs come with 12 stickers, you could easily use all 12 stickers (instead of 4) to create your clock.

Finally, when displaying your clock, think about including it as part of a gallery wall, displaying it in your office or simply displaying it on a bookshelf.

Shadow Box House featuring the Marbleous Paper Pad

Katie King CircleHi everyone! My name is Katie King and I am one of the newest members of the Paper House Productions Design Team! To explain a little bit more about myself, I am a DIY blogger, who believes that crafting should be simple, fun and unique. The name of my blog is Running with a Glue Gun and the types of crafts/DIYs that I tend to make on my blog are home décor.

Since this is my first project for Paper House Productions, I thought it would be fun to show you how to decorate a shadow box house in only 3 steps! In this project, I am using the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad and Life Organized Embrace Today Puffy Stickers. This may seem like an odd combination, but the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad contains 48 sheets of gorgeous marbled paper and the Embrace Today Puffy Stickers are the perfect size for the individual sections of a shadow box.

Shadow Box House featuring the Marbleous 12 Paper Pad

To create your own shadow box house, you would do the following:

Step 1

Step 1: Paint your wooden shadow box white and set it aside to dry.

Step 2

Step 2: Measure the inside sections of your shadow box. Then grab your Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad and cut pieces of scrapbooking paper that fit those measurements. For my shadow box, I used 2 different pieces of scrapbooking paper from the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad. The first piece of scrapbooking paper had four different marble patterns on it and the second piece had a collage of different phrases.

Once you have cut your pieces of paper out, begin decorating each piece using your Embrace Today Puffy Stickers. Now, these stickers were originally designed for planners, but they are the perfect size for the inside of a shadow box. Also, since they were originally designed for planners, the arrows and little phrases help to make your items (in the shadow box) stand out even more.

Step 3

Step 3: When all your paper pieces have been decorated, use your favorite adhesive to glue each paper piece into each section of the shadow box.

After all of the paper pieces have dried, you are now ready to fill up your shadow box and display it!

By painting the house white and using the brighter colors of the Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad, it really helps to make your items in the shadow box stand out. Also, the Embrace Today Puffy Stickers help to ”frame” your items and add a bit more detail to each section. For example, I like the look of the ”love” sticker above my miniature dog figurine.
