Happy Halloween Layout

Hello! Samantha here today with a happy Halloween layout. I’m a pretty organized person, and I so love all the fun from fall through Christmas. To keep this time of year a bit more stress free, I actually use a binder that I organize at least 100 days before Christmas to plan out all of our Halloween through Christmas fun. Putting together my binder for this year got me so excited to start crafting and scrapping for Halloween that I just had to pull out a photo from last year and get documenting!

Supplies: Wicked Good Trouble is Brewing, Wicked Good Ghosts, Wicked Good Tags, Wicked Good Halloween Epoxy Stickers, Wicked Good Halloween Puffy Stickers, Wicked Good Halloween Stick On Pockets, Wicked Good Cobweb Acetate

The Wicked Good Halloween collection from Paper House is just so fun. It has all of your favorite Halloween icons like ghosts, pumpkins, witches, candy corn, skulls, and spiders, and it does a fantastic job of walking that line between not too cutesy and not too creepy. It really makes these papers and embellishments perfect for scrapping everyone from little kids to adults. My only complaint is that there are so many great embellishments that I couldn’t find a way to use them all on this layout (I didn’t even get a chance to use the fabulous Halloween Washi).

I maximized my embellishment use by placing them in groups around my photo. This way I got to use many of the embellishments, but they draw your eye to the photo instead of taking focus away from it. I also used a stick on pocket as a journaling tag. You’ll need a marker that is permanent on slick surfaces if you’d like to try this trick for yourself.

What are you working on for Halloween this year?

Falling into Halloween Scrapbooking

Natalie here today to share a Halloween scrapbook page with you! I know it’s not October, but it’s officially fall, so I was ready for some Halloween scrapbooking!

I grabbed this awesomely festive pumpkin paper from PHP called Wicked good & used it to back the word RAWR! My boys were a tiger and a dino – so roaring was in order all night.

How cute are these Halloween puffy stickers?!

I could use them on 100 projects!

This double sided paper is very thick & holds up well on your paper projects. And this ghost is the cutest!

I used the small puffy stickers to hold in my journaling on this portion of the layout – a fun way to frame text!

A subtitle of puffy stickers is always a good idea.

You can find more fun Halloween goodies in the Paper House Productions store & get 20% off your order using the code PH19NATALIE. Grab some now for an entire month of holiday crafting!

Paper House/Tombow Fall Blog Hop – Day Three

PHP_tombow-Co-Hop-banner

Two Page Halloween Scrapbook Layout

CarolynCircle2Carolyn back today with a double page layout using the latest Halloween collection from Paper House Productions called Wicked Good. It has so many fun stickers that can be used in planners or on layouts. We have also teamed up with Tombow to show you some of their cool products.

socuteitsscary1PH

Supplies: Halloween Puffy Sticker, Halloween Flake Stickers, Halloween Stick On Pockets, Trouble Is Brewing 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Ghosts 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Wicked Spooky Cardstock Stickers, Great Outdoors 12″ Cardstock Stickers, Wicked Good 3D Stickers, Tombow TwinTone Marker Set Brights, Tombow Mono Glue Pen

socuteitsscary2PH

I cut the spider webs and title from black and orange cardstock using my Cameo. The title comes from the Silhouette store. I decided to focus on thin, complicated cut files so I could try out the Tombow Mono Glue Pen. It was so easy to run it across the web and letters for a very thin line of glue. I usually make a big mess with my adhesives but this worked like a charm! The glue is very thin so the only recommendation I have is to use it quickly so it doesn’t dry. I then used the black TWINTONE dual-tip marker for the journaling. I used the thicker tip so my writing stood out but the fine tip is very handy to have for more precise work.

Fall Bullet Journal Spread

Hi everyone!  Christine joining you to share a Fall Bullet Journal Spread.  I’ve been loving all the bullet journals I have been seeing lately and decided a new pack of Tombow TwinTone Markers was the perfect reason to try it out!

BulletJournal

Supplies Used: Autumn Woods Epoxy Clips, Autumn Woods Planner Stickers, Autumn Woods Epoxy Stickers, Autumn Woods Stick-On Pockets, Autumn Woods Puffy Stickers, Autumn Woods Patterned Paper, Autumn Woods Rice Paper Borders, Free Spirit Planner

I really enjoyed this process and decided I would designate my Free Spirit Planner for my bullet journaling creations.  It worked perfectly! Let’s take a closer look at the two sides of my spread.

BulletJournal1WM

I incorporated the Rice Paper Borders, Planner Stickers, Epoxy Stickers, and Epoxy Clips.  It was fun to have all the options.

BulletJournal2WM

I really love this side, I think because of the stick-on pocket!  Bullet journaling has such a practical organizing side as well as memory keeping. It also can allow for a lot of creativity – I think I will really enjoy dabbling in it!

Creepy

Hi Paper House Fans! Melissa joining you today with a Halloween page I made with some very fun and cool products from Paper House. I love the rich colors and details of the papers, especially the contrast of the blue and beige.

Supplies Used:

img_6431-top-left-red-head

To make this page I put some foam core board between the layers under the photo. I placed the flowers, owl, and other stickers where I wanted them, then applied texture paste with a stencil. I mixed gold mica powder and water and painted the sunbursts. I also went over some flowers with gesso.   I finished by putting on the rest of the embellishments, which include metal chain, mica flakes, bling, seed beads, and rub-ons. I drew lines around some items with a dark brown watercolor pencil.

img_6432-top-left-red-head

I also stamped a few areas,  glued on small pieces of gauze, and glued on microbeads.

I love the detail on the owl.

Thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Halloween Banner

Hey Scrappy Friends!
Lisa here with you today to share a fun Halloween banner I created with some new goodies from Paper House.

halloween-banner

Halloween Banner Supplies:

halloween-banner-close-up-1

I hand cut my banner using The Raven and Bats Scrapbook Papers and  backed them with black cardstock. I cut 2 of each color. I roughed up the edges a bit and then stitched around the edges with black thread. I took two black doilies and cut them in half placing half on the top of each banner. I then took a punch and punched a small piece for each banner. Finally I machine stitched using a zig zag stitch:

halloween-banner-close-up-2

I added two eyelets to each banner to thread my twine through. I also added some ribbon on each end of the banners to hold them in place. The black ribbon is what I cut off of the 3D Lighted Shimmers. They come with the ribbon so you can hang them.

Check out this super duper cute ghost! This is one of the new Halloween 3D Lighted Shimmers. Isn’t he adorable?! I added the “Boo” sticker from the Scary Sculpted Stickers.

halloween-banner-close-up-3

This “Spooktacular” sticker is from the 3D Stickers. I just love all the dimension they add to my banner!

halloween-banner-close-up-4

Here is another 3D Lighted Shimmers. Check out the cool haunted mansion! I added the “Creepy” Sculpted Sticker. So fast and easy!

halloween-banner-close-up-5

The “Halloween Hauntings” sticker is from the Cardstock Sticker Sheet. I just popped it up with foam tape to give some more dimension to this banner piece. The “owl” is from the 3D Sticker Sheet.

Here are some more close ups:
You can see see the dimension these fun embellies have.

I saved the best photos for last! These are the 3D Lighted Shimmers lit up:

All 3 windows light up at different times:

It’s kind of hard to see the light on the ghost, but if you look closely you can see it right above his nose:

I just love all the dimension these fun Halloween embellishments gave my banner and it was so fun and easy to create!

Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy my friends!
