Wood Plank Home Decor With Field Study

sara-circle-2 Hello Hello! I hope you are having a wonderful day! Thank you so much for stopping by to visit the blog! My dear mother recently spent an extended period in the hospital. I decided to create a home decor/art piece that included a photo of all her grandchildren to brighten up her room and then she can hang it in her home in a few weeks when she is discharged.  This Wood Plank Home Decor incorporates the beautiful Field Study paper pad to decorate it.Wood Plank Home Decor using Field Study from Paper House Productions

I fussy cut as many butterflies as I could to include on the wood plank. I adhered everything with a mixture of wet glue or glue dots and I added dimension by putting some craft foam behind the butterflies.

IMG_1952 I chose patterns and cut apart pieces from the paper pad that showcased the GORGEOUS copper foil in this pad…absolutely stunning!

I hope you enjoyed this project today…and, yes, my mama loved it a bunch!

Have A Lovely Day!

Project Pad Camping Decor

Hello! Samantha with you today to share a little inspiration using one of Paper House’s Punch Out Project Pads. These fun pads a full of hearts, feathers, butterflies, or frames in a variety of patterns and sizes that you just punch out and use. So simple and fun! My piece today is a little Project Pad camping decor.

Supplies: DIY Punch Out Frames Project Pad, Relax Sculpted Sticker

My favorite thing about these little punch out frames is how easy it is to create seasonal decor with them. They go together really quickly and are super easy to group together since the colors and patterns coordinate with each other.

There are 2 types of frames in the Project Pad; raised frames and recessed frames. I used a flat die cut of a camper (we love camping with our camper during the summer!) in the recessed frame and some sculpted stickers on the raised frame. The raised texture of the sculpted stickers allowed me to keep my frames clean and simple, but still add a lot of interest by adding texture to the frames.

The frames in the project pad are a great size for grouping together as part of a design element in your home decor. They’re light weight enough that they can stand on their own, or be attached to the wall with a temporary scrapbook adhesive or poster adhesive. So many fun possibilities!

The fun doesn’t stop with the Frames Project Pad. There are 3 more Punch Out Project Pads, and they are all so much fun! In fact, I couldn’t decide on just one project to make for today, so I have a bonus Project Pad project over on my blog today. Head on over there to see how I used the Hearts Project Pad to create this layout.

Cut several pieces of patterned paper to 6X12 inches and then cut that into 6X6 squares.  Then using a bone folder, fold  each 6X6 paper diagonally

I used a white foam board for my base. Starting at the top left corner of the white foam board begin adhering the 6X6 paper squares as shown leaving one diagonal piece up to create a diamond design as shown below  placing four squares together until the board is completely covered with paper.
