Help keep the kids (or teachers) excited about reading by creating one of a kind bookmarks! Stephanie combined Color Washed with our Enamel Stickers to create these beautiful ones.

Scrapbook Layouts

We’ve all seen the Back to School layouts perfectly themed and jam packed with primary colors.  Today, we don’t have those.  Today, our designers thought out of the box and captured those memories with some of our colorful (but not school themed) collections!

PHP-Aug. School-LO-Yvette

By adding the perfect cut file, Yvette was able to take patterned paper from Color Washed and turn it into a Back to School layout.  Combining it with encouraging stickers made it even more perfect!

Always Believe in Yourself - Majken Pullin for PHP

Majken also turned to her cut files and created a beautiful and encouraging layout.  The colors from Color Washed are a perfect match to the background!

Scrapbook Layout Using My Favorite Collection: Color Washed

image

Hi everyone!  Daisie here with a layout I created using one of my favorite products from Paper House Productions.  This layout is made almost completely from the Color Washed Paper Pad.  This collection is bright, colorful, and vibrant.  Perfect for any of my teen girl layouts!

I started with a white textured cardstock background that I misted with some gold mist.  I layered the white cardstock on a watercolor paper from the paper pad.  This added stability and a gorgeous pop of color around the outside of the layout.

I then used the cut apart sheets from the paper pad.  I used mostly 3×4 cards but I did cut a couple of the 4×6 cards down.  I just layered them around my photo in a way that I found pleasing to my eye.  The colors are so bright and beautiful that it was hard to pick out which cards to use! Some of the cards have the gold foiling on them so I tried to make sure that the foiling showed.  It goes so well with the gold mist on the background.

I worked on my title next. I used the tile letter stickers from the included sticker sheet for the smaller words in the title.  I used the white “love” cardstock sticker also from the sticker sheet.

I decided to use the Brunch Faux Enamel Stickersto add some embellishment and to play up on the photo.  These stickers have awesome foiling so they really go with the papers I chose.

Artist Trading Cards Using Color Washed Paper Pack

Caitlyn Storm CircleHey, everyone, it’s Caitlyn! I have a question for all of you today – what is your favorite item by Paper House Productions when it comes to scrapbooking or planning? I had to think about the answer to this question for a long time, but then it hit me while I was working on a project.

My favorite item is the paper. The paper is so amazingly versatile and I have used it in almost every single project that I have done so far. From adding it to the wood piece for my quote board to creating planner stickers, it has done so much for me. The color washed paper pack has been my go-to paper pack for beautiful splashes of color. I love the paper.

Artist Trading Card

At the end of the month I’ll be attending an art class with a designer. I knew I wanted to have something to swap with the other attendees when Artist’s Trading Cards came to mind. While I wasn’t sure exactly what direction I wanted to go with these at the start, I knew all I needed to do was grab my trusted Color Washed paper pack in order to get started.

Artist Trading Cards Using Color Washed Paper Pack

The first thing I did was go through all of the pages and pull out my favorites. In addition to going through Color Washed paper pack, I pulled a few sheets from the Marbleous paper pad  just in case. You never know what will cause inspiration to strike so I opted to choose as many different options as possible.

Once my sheets were picked, I moved into cutting them into 2″ x 3″ inch rectangles. The papers found in the paper packs are so different from each other with a ton of variety. Since there is so much variation just on one sheet of paper it made my job that much easier. I had a lot of options to choose from just one sheet – all I had to do was create the rest of my design!

To make this project even easier I picked one of my favorite stamp sets to use containing different women. I would take a pile of my cut rectangles, stamp one of the women on the page, and then stamped the word “artist” in a blank space.

Once the first part of the card was completed I opted to add a black piece of cardstock as a backer. This helped to make the card pop even more! To add additional variety, I rounded out the corners on a few cards.

It’s amazing how something as simple as paper can help to create an amazing project! I can’t wait to swap with everyone else at the class. These were just too enjoyable!

Printers Tray

Laura Cox Circle PH 2018

Hi everyone!  Laura here with you today and  I’m sharing a fun printers tray project using some great products from both Paper House AND Xyron….what a perfect combo!

This project starts with a whole bunch of Paper House and Xyron goodness…..

Xyron close up #1

They all come together to create this piece of home decor that captures our family trip to Arizona!

Call of the Wild XyronPH 2018

Paper House has great Travel 2D stickers for the states and the Succulent Faux Enamel Stickers work well with the desert vibe on this project.  Think outside the box when you are using stickers….in this set, many of the plants are in cute little clay pots.  Some were left that way, but some,  I trimmed off the cactus to use on its own and layered it into torn pieces from the Color Washed 12×12 Paper Pad.  The Sticky Pix Clear Cuts are also a great way to add interest to a project, and being clear, they can go right on your photos as well.

Something that brings this project all together is the beautiful washi tape.   Love that the Paper House washi comes with a wide and narrow width tape in the same package!  You can layer it up on plain white or black cardstock to create backgrounds, borders, and also die-cut to create a project title.

Xyron close up #3

The Xyron Sticker Maker makes it easy to add adhesive to the letters, and if you need a little clean up of the extra adhesive, the Xyron Adhesive Eraser has got it covered….nothing like the perfect tools to bring a project together!

Xyron close up #2

All the individual squares and layers on this project are held together beautifully by the Xyron Tape Runner.   It has a strong adhesive that holds all the layers in place.

Removable Sticky Note Dashboard with Xyron

Katie King CircleHello Everyone! Like most people who have planners, I love sticky notes! To be honest, I have always loved sticky notes and have used them in my planners for years. However, until recently, I had never heard of a sticky note dashboard (crazy, I know). Since my planner has a spine that can’t be opened, adding a ‘’pre-made’’ sticky dashboard is sort-of out of the question. So, I decided to make my own and that is what I will be showing you today!

Today, I am going to show you how to make a Removable Sticky Note Dashboard using Xyron! If you are unfamiliar with Xyron they are a company that creates products to enhance and protect your handmade creations. Some of the products that they are best known for are their sticker makers, creative stations, and tape runners. In today’s project, I will be using their tape runner.

This particular sticky note dashboard that I am creating, was designed to go into my Paper House Productions 18-Month Stargazer Planner. Like every Paper House planner, the 18-Month Stargazer Planner is beautifully put together and includes a variety of things. For example, quotes, pockets, several different places to take notes, stickers, etc. Also, if are not a fan of the ”galaxy look”, Paper House has a bunch of planner options ranging from florals to Wonder Women!

Removable Sticky Note Dashboard with Xyron

To create your own Removable Sticky Note Dashboard, you would do the following:

Step 1

Step 1: Cut a piece of scrapbooking paper that fits on the inside of your planner. If you are using the 18-Month Stargazer Planner you will want to cut a piece of paper that is 6 ½ inches wide by 9 inches tall. The paper I used for my planner came from the Color Washed 12’’ Paper Pad.

Step 2

Step 2: Grab all of your sticky note pads and lay them out onto your piece of scrapbooking paper. Once you are happy with the layout, flip each sticky note pad over and apply some adhesive to the back using your Xyron Tape Runner. Then press your sticky note pads into place.

Note: If you are wanting to use a big sticky note pad (like the blue pad in the corner) you will want to remove half of the sticky notes from the pad, so the sticky note dashboard doesn’t add more bulk to your planner.

Step 3

Step 3: Lay your sticky note dashboard onto a planner page that you don’t mind covering up. Then grab a piece of washi tape (I’m using the wide tape from the Stargazer Washi Tape Set) and apply half of it the top of the sticky note dashboard, then fold over the half of the washi tape onto your planner page.

To further decorate your sticky note dashboard, you can apply more washi tape around your sticky notes. For my sticky note dashboard, I used the thin gold tape from the Wine Washi Tape Set to outline my sticky notes.

Once you are happy with how your sticky note dashboard looks, you are ready to start using it!

Removable Sticky Note Dashboard with Xyron 2

I love how this removable sticky note dashboard turned out! Using the Xyron Tape Runner really made the whole process go by very quickly. In terms of time, I had this dashboard created within 30 minutes. It probably should have taken me less time than that, but I kept changing the layout of my sticky notes!

Speaking of sticky notes, you may have noticed that I decorated my sticky notes. To do this I used the Stargazer Faux Enamel Sticker and Stargazer Life Organized Micro Stickers, which match back to the 18-Month Stargazer Planner. This is totally optional, but I thought it made the sticky notes look a little cuter.

Color Washed Gift Set

Laura Cox Circle PH 2018

Hi there!  Laura here with you today sharing a project idea for a sweet gift for a friend, neighbor or just about anyone.  Good for a grad, or someone who just needs a pick me up, or thank you.  This is created with the Color Washed 12×12 Pad collection from Paper House.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is a great journal set for someone to keep their goals, dreams or just random thoughts about what they are going through on a daily basis.

The gift box keeps the journal and any other memento the recipient would like, and is a reminder to keep a positive attitude….the Color Washed 12×12 pad is full of gorgeous papers in bright cheerful colors, along with journal boxes and border strips with positive uplifting messages!

The inside of the box is decorated too to keep those positive vibes coming…..

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Next is the journal and gift card…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The sweet simple card was made using some of the scraps from creating the box, and also the stickers that are included in the Color Washed Pad….they look like gorgeous water-colored pieces of art.  You can keep the project simple and still make a bold beautiful statement.

The journal is just an inexpensive dollar store type notebook.  By adding the papers, stickers and a little ribbon, it turns into a pretty little journal better than most store bought journals.  If you want to add a little more pizazz, you can decorate inside the front cover (a little bonus inspiration!) and even add some of the small 2×2 squares that are also in the Color Washed pad to give little positive reminders throughout the journal.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure you stop by the Paper House website to take a look at all the 12×12 paper pads they have available.  They have a great selection, and with the stickers, journal cards, and gorgeous papers included you are ready to create multiple projects with just one paper pad!

Valentine’s Mailbox Treat Holder with Color Washed 12×12 Paper Pad by PHP

Maria Russell CircleAre you looking for some last-minute gift ideas for Valentine’s Day?  Look no further.  Here’s an easy and fun Valentine’s Mailbox Treat Holder idea!   You can find these mailboxes at a craft store, or go to your local Target at the Dollar spot section.  I have altered my mailbox, using the beautiful Color Washed 12 x 12 Paper Pad by Paper House Productions.  You guys are all going to love this paper pad.  The pad comes with a sticker sheet that contains alphabet stickers, and other ephemeras.

I love making 3D projects for Valentine’s Day, especially making treat holders for my family and friends.  Valentine’s Day is always a special day at my house.  When my kids were a lot younger, I would surprise them by decorating the table with hearts, candles, confetti, and flowers!  I would also leave the little treat bags on top of their plates so that before they eat breakfast and go to school, they already have their treats with them.  It made their day.  It doesn’t matter how big or small the presents were but they were always happy to get a few treats to celebrate the day.  We also made treats for their friends!

Here are the photos of my finished project:

I have a process video for you today to show you how I altered this inexpensive mailbox that I found from Target.  It is super fast and easy, and it doesn’t require decoupaging.  I hope you like it.  The supplies I used are listed and linked below.  Have a wonderful day!

Adventure Scrapbook Layout Featuring A Hand-Cut Title

Adventure Scrapbook Layout Featuring A Hand-Cut TitleHi everyone! Khristina here with another super fun project using those amazing new 12×12 paper pads. Today, I decided to combine elements from the Sun Drenched paper pad along with the Color Washed paper pad to create a unique oversized title element. The bright, bold colors in these two collections really worked perfectly with a black cardstock background and really created a fun look!

Adventure Scrapbook Layout Featuring A Hand-Cut Title

For this layout, I used some older chipboard letters as templates to trace around and create the letters from some of the amazing, bold patterns in the Sun Drenched and Color Washed paper pads. I wanted to emphasis the green, yellow, and blue colors from my two photos and there were so many perfect choices to work with! Adventure Scrapbook Layout Featuring A Hand-Cut Title

I added a few embellishments from my stash as well as one of the sticker borders from the Sun Drenched paper pad to add some dimension and little details to my photos and hand-cut banners.

Adventure Scrapbook Layout Featuring A Hand-Cut Title

I really had a blast playing with these bold colors and I hope that you will stop by and check out my video for even more details into how this page came together! I would love to see what you create and challenge you to use a dark-colored background to help bold colors pop off the page!
