Basketball Cards

Hello! Samantha here today with a set of sports themed basketball cards. This group of 4 cards is a great way to have some sports themed cards in your stash for when you need them, or (if you’re like me) catch up on a few belated thank yous.

Supplies: All Star 12″ Paper Pad, Basketball Essentials Sticker, Basketall Washi Tape Set, Sports Planner Stickers, Sentiment stamps or stickers

I needed some thank you cards for my sons’ basketball coaches, but these cards could easily be made into birthday or just because cards by swapping out the sentiment.

The All Star Paper Pad is my go to for all of my sports needs; scrapping sports, sports themed cards, and sport themed party decorations. I stuck to a basketball theme for these cards, but you’ll also find baseball, soccer, and football in the paper pad.

Paper House has such a large offering of stickers and embellishments that it’s easy to grab the paper pad (which also includes a card stock sticker sheet) and a few matching embellishments to create a fabulous card.

For these cards, I went for some 3d stickers, a bit of washi tape, and some planner stickers as embellishments. The best part is that the planner stickers are in the new Great Deals section on the website. If you haven’t checked out the Great Deals section, make sure to head over there. It’s full of discounts, sales, grab boxes, specials, and more. On top of that, you can use any of the creative team member’s codes (you can find mine at the end of this post) at checkout and get an additional 20% off an already awesome deal.

This set of basketball thank you cards is all set and ready for the mail!

Magical Menagerie Layout

Hello! Samantha here with you. Any time I need a little extra magic in my life I reach for Paper House’s Harry Potter collection. Today I’m sharing a 2 page Magical Menagerie layout using lots of fun products from the Harry Potter collection.

Supplies: Harry Potter Sticker Folio, Harry Potter Icons Foil Paper, Harry Potter Chibi Scenes Washi Tape Set, Harry Patter Chibi Washi Tape Set, Color Washed Card Stock Multi Pack, Navy Card Stock, Aqua Card Stock, White Gel or Paint Pen

One of my favorite Harry Potter products is the Harry Potter Sticker Folio. The illustrations are adorable, and there are so many characters and images that you don’t find elsewhere. I also love that you get at least two of every sticker in the folio, so you don’t have to worry about saving your favorites in case you want to use them later…and you get over 400 stickers for just $7.99. It’s such a great value!

When I saw all the fun magical creature stickers in the folio, I knew I wanted to build a layout around them. I had photos of the Magical Menagerie from a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that worked so well with the magical creatures theme.

I didn’t want to take the focus of the magical creature stickers, so I used a pop of Chibi patterned paper and some coordinating Harry Potter washi tape to frame the layout.

For my title, I grabbed some alphabet stickers from the Colorwashed Cardstock Multipack.

It’s no secret I love everything about the Harry Potter collection. There are so many fun products like papers, stickers, washi, puzzles, cards, planners, and journals. Finding new ways to use them always brings a smile to my face.

If you love Harry Potter as much I do, make sure to use code PH20SAMANTHA at checkout to get 20% off Harry Potter and anything else you love at Paper House.

St. Patrick’s Day Card

Hello! Samantha here today. One of my favorite holidays is coming up: St. Patrick’s Day. We have Irish ancestors and are very proud of it. I always send my Irish grandparents a card to celebrate, so today I have my St. Patrick’s Day card and matching envelope to share with you.

Supplies: Marbelous 12 x 12 Paper Pad, St. Patrick’s – March Sticker Kit, Mommy Lhey – Wild and Free Sticker Kit, Heart Punch (or die), Envelope Maker

I wanted to show a few things when making this St. Patrick’s Day card. First, I wanted to show that you don’t need a St. Paddy’s themed paper collection to create a card for the holiday. I knew Marbelous had a fantastic green as part of the collection, plus I love the white and gold paper that’s part of that collection. I forgot about the orange paper that’s also perfect for a St. Paddy’s card.

I also used a piece of the green Marbelous paper to create a matching envelop, because every card looks even better with a matching envelope.

The second thing I wanted to share is how easy it is to make a shamrock with a heart punch or die. Four quick punches with a heart punch and you’ve got the 4 leaves of your 4 leaf clover. I used some foam adhesive to pop them up in the middle of the card.

The last thing I wanted to share was a reminder that Paper House planner stickers aren’t just for planners. They make great embellishments for layouts and cards!

Paper House has a planner sticker for just about every holiday or occasion, so the possibilities are endless. Have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!

Travel Food Layout

Hello! Samantha here today with a travel food layout. My husband and I aren’t foodies by any means, but we are adventurous eaters. Whenever we travel we like to try any and every new food we can. It’s the only time I take lots and lots of photos of what we eat and drink!

Supplies: Explore Your World Passport Stamps, Explore Your World Map, Explore Your World Tags, Around the World Puffy Stickers, World Travel and Big Adventure Sticker Value Pack, Travel Planner Stickers

These photos are from Germany. While doner kebab is Turkish, not German, it’s super popular in Germany. My husband came back to the hotel one night with this yummy doner kebab in a box.

Paper House has released some of its stickers as 2 pack card stock sticker value packs. I grabbed more than a few of them, because they really are a fantastic value. I used the World Travel and Big Adventure sticker pack on this layout.

For my papers, I chose to use Explore Your World. This collection is the perfect travel collection. It’s full of rich colors and fun travel prints. The multi color flag style print of the Explore Your World Passport Stamps paper is one of my favorite papers. I love the multiple shades of blue and the pops of yellow and orange. It’s a great piece for tying everything together.

Since the card stock stickers are flat, I added some dimension with puffy stickers and silver foiled card stock stickers.

I finished up the layout with a bit of journaling. I made the journaling card from part of the Explore Your World Tags paper.

Summer Boat Layout

Hello! Samantha here with a layout using some of the new tropical papers from Paper House. They are perfect for scrapping tropical fun, summer getaways, memories made in the sunshine, or in my case a summer boat layout.

Supplies: Love this Life Double Sided Paper, Tropical Beach Double Sided Paper, Flamingo Tags Double Sided Paper, Colorwashed Cardstock Multi Pack, Neon Tropical Faux Enamel Stickers, Embrace Today Stick On Pockets

When I scrap, I usually have a photo and then pick paper to match. This layout though…I fell in love with the Love This Life paper. It’s just so pretty and I knew I had to use it right away. I dug through my unscrapped photos and found this fun one that I thought would work beautifully with Love This Life. The photo is of my sons and their cousin in a boat on the lake.

I wanted to use the words already printed on the paper as my title. To make sure the words stood out on the page, I added some stickers around the title to help draw your eye to it.

What I love so much about these new release papers is that they coordinate so well with a bunch of embellishments from Paper House that I already have. There are cardstock stickers, faux enamel stickers, 3D stickers, and even washi that match with these new collections.

For my layout today, I chose some faux enamel stickers, card stock stickers (from the Colorwashed collection), and some stick on pockets.

I layered patterned papers and embellishments around the photo to help it stand out from the pattern printed on the piece of Love This Life paper. I also used some foam adhesive under my photo do give the layout a bit more dimension.

Pool Fun Layout

Hello! Samantha here with a new layout today. I am so excited about Paper House’s new paper collections. I can never resist a pretty patterned paper, and this new release is full of them. Today’s Pool Fun Layout uses some of the new beachy, tropical feeling papers.

Supplies: Flamingos Double Sided Paper, Flamingo Tags Double Sided Paper, Tropical Beach Double Sided Paper, The Beach 3D Stickers, Sundrenched Cardstock Multi Pack

While these photos weren’t taken at a tropical location, they are taken at one of our favorite getaways. My husband goes to Omaha, NE for business quite often, and at least once a year we tag along. One of the hotels has a really fun pool with a slide and a bunch of water features. I took these photos on our most recent trip with him. While not in the tropics, there’s always a tropical feel to indoor water parks!

I have to take a minute to talk about the gorgeous colors in this collection. While they’re definitely bright, they’re also a bit more saturated than your typical tropical print. It makes them feel new and fresh, and honestly they are just so lovely to look at.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match these bold prints. I started my layout with the flamingo print and then layered on some green and yellow papers in a more subtle print to keep it from getting too busy.

The best part about this collection is that Paper House already has a ton of stickers that match perfectly. I chose some beach 3D stickers for some dimension and added in some card stock stickers from Sundrenched as well.

Mix and Match Layout

Hello! Samantha here today with another layout using some of the newly released papers. I wanted to showcase how easy it is to mix and match these papers and how beautifully they coordinate across collections.

Supplies: Costal Waves Tags Double Sided Paper, Beloved Double Sided Paper, Cherish Double Sided Paper, Greenery Double Sided Paper, Dad Mixed Sticker Pack

At first glance, a lot of these papers are perfect for scrapping things like weddings, but what really stands out to me about these new papers is how versatile thy are. Their soft colors and botanical feel makes them wonderful for family histories, vintage photos, baby photos….the list goes on. For this layout I mixed and matched the papers to scrap a celebration.

This past year my husband was honored as the alumnus of the year at his college. He is not one who likes to have a big fuss made about him, so it was a unique bit of fun to be able to celebrate him and his accomplishments in his field. I’d been waiting for the right papers to scrap some of the photos from the event.

I layered up multiple pieces of patterned paper and created a journaling tag from a square of Coastal Waves Tags paper. The subtle blue wood grain makes the perfect space for journaling.

To customize the the layout I used some stickers from the Dad Mixed Sticker Pack. The mixed sticker packs are really fun because they use a mix of clear stickers, chipboard stickers, and card stock stickers. They help with the theme of the layout and add a lot of texture and dimension.

Thanksgiving Layout

Hello! Samantha here today with a Thanksgiving layout. I love this time of year. From fall through Christmas, I just can’t get enough of all of the festive fun. To keep everything enjoyable and not stressful, I plan a lot in advance. This year I figured I could even try planning my Thanksgiving layout in advance.

Supplies: Autumn Woods Autumn Air, Autumn Woods, Autumn Woods Pumpkin Spice, Autumn Woods Washi, Autumn Woods Puffy Stickers, Autumn Woods Cardstock Stickers, Give Thanks 3D Stickers, Kraft Card Stock

Since this is going to be a Thanksgiving layout, I wanted to build my layout around the Give Thanks 3D Stickers. They pair beautifully with the Autumn Woods collection, which is full of deep purples, rich browns, soft teal, and pumpkin orange with pops of white, yellow, and green.

Once I had a rough idea of what paper and stickers I wanted to use, I had to decide how many photos I wanted to take and use on my layout. We host Thanksgiving. I love it, but it’s busy, and I’d rather spend time with my family than fuss over photos. With that in mind, I decided two pictures will be enough. I plan on taking one picture of everyone gathered and one picture of the food.

To give myself an idea of what the finished layout will look like with photos on it, I cut photo mats to use as placeholders for the photos. I plan on using a 4″ x 6″ photo and a 4″ x 4″ photo, so I cut photo mats in 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ and 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″.

With this naked layout finished, all I will have to do is print out my two photos and attach them to my page after thanksgiving. Prepping this page ahead of time is an easy way to keep my holidays documented without feeling overwhelmed.

Football Layout

Hello! Samantha here today with a football layout. I don’t know about you, but in our house fall means lots of football; playing and cheering on our favorite teams. Until this year, my kids only played flag football. This year is my oldest son’s first year of tackle football, so I definitely needed to document his first game.

Supplies: All Star Paper Pad, Football 3D Stickers, Football Mixed Stickers, Football Cardstock Stickers, Football Faux Enamel Stickers

This is one of those layouts where the wide variety of stickers that Paper House carries really helps make the layout come together. Because I chose the big, all over football print as my base for this layout, I had to keep the rest of my paper choices pretty neutral. I went with a football turf green paper for one accent and a blue paper for my second accent (my son’s school colors are black, blue, and white).

To help add pizazz to this layout, I added quite a few stickers in different textures and finishes to tell the story. I layered flat alpha stickers over a card stock football sticker. I put a faux enamel arrow pointing to my son in the sea of Nighthawk football players, so I’ll always remember which one he was. I layered clear metallic stickers over the photo. I also added some 3D and chipboard stickers to add more texture.

Many of the football stickers and some of the patterned paper from All Star have touches of metallic gold or silver to them which really helps tie everything together into one cohesive layout.

Whether you’re cheering on a favorite team or a favorite player, Paper House has all the football stickers and papers you need to document your team spirit.

Color Washed LOVE

Hi everybody. I’m just taking a moment to share this layout I created using some papers and stickers from the Color Washed paper Pad and stickers. If you love this collection, you’ll be happy to know that Paper House has a travel notebook in this style! Check it out here. I love how vibrant the colors are in this collection. It’s the perfect collection for scrapbooking those New Years Eve photos or in my case photo. I love this selfie I took of my husband and I celebrating.

I got a little creative with this layout. Even though it’s a photo taken on New Year’s Eve, I decided to create a “love” themed layout. Why not… what a great photo!

I used lots of stickers on this layout. The butterfly was punched from a scrap piece of paper that had different splashes of paint… It was so pretty that I thought it would be perfect for punching a butterfly die cut out of the scrap to use on my layout. I decorated the center of the butterfly using a button and some embroidery thread.

I cut a banner sticker in half and adhered it at the top of the layout. Then I stamped the “fantastic” sentiment inside the word banner.

The Sunflowers were hand-made using a similar technique used to create the butterfly, but instead of using a punch, I used a stamp then I fussy cut the image out of the paper.

The “love” sticker was actually white. I used a light blue marker from Altenew to change the color. 🙂 Lots of clever ideas on this layout to stretch out my supplies!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
