For my first card I used the sweet and fun papers from the Hello Baby Girl Paper Crafting Kit. I just love all the prints in this kit. So pretty! I used the prints for the main focus of the card. I then had fun adding layers of circles in various colors.

Here is a closer look at the stamped sentiment. I love the mix of fonts. Both playful and elegant. This sentiment is perfect for some many types of birthday wishes!

Take a closer look at the adorable puffy hot air balloon sticker! I just LOVE these stickers. I can’t resist touching them.

Now for my second card. The white cardstock base is 5.5 x 5.5. I then turned to my Sliced Love Paper Pad and cut out the patterned paper mats. I then used the coloring frame included in the stamp set to stamp out the beautiful floral frame and sentiment in a coordinating ink. I have to say I thought these stamps stamped beautifully. The quality of their images is fantastic!

I then colored it in with my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Brush Pen. I couldn’t capture the sparkle on camera but it is there! It adds such a soft and elegant shimmer.

Look at the pretty banner sticker that is also included in the paper pad!

My Sentiments Exactly Motivational Card

KattyCircle2Hello friends! Katty here to share a fun card with you all. This week we are collaborating with an amazing Stamp Company called My Sentiments Exactly. They have an amazing selection of stamp sets. I was sent a wonderful set called Flag Sentiments. I love all of the quotes and phrases included in this set. All so positive and encouraging. I decided to create a fun motivational card using one of my favorite sentiments and one of my favorite Paper House paper pads, the Be Happy 12″ Paper Pad.

IMG_2498 copy

Supplies: Be Happy 12″ Paper Pad, MSE Flag Sentiments Stamp Set

I began by using two of the diagonal stripped patterned papers from the paper pad and layering them one on top of the other. The one on the back will serve as my card base.

I then used one of the 4×6 cut aparts as my card front. I love the colors in this paper pad. The cut apart has a beautiful floral cluster at the bottom left hand side as well as a nice white center in the design and it was perfect for stamping my sentiment from the Flag Sentiments stamp set. I chose to use the sentiment “Be your own kind of Beautiful.”

I then used some of the floral stickers from the Paper Pad sticker sheet to embellish my card. I fussy cut some of the smaller flowers and used a cluster on the top right. I layered a black circle sticker behind the top cluster to bring some black up to the top.

I love how this card turned out. The combination of the light pink and black is awesome. This stamp set is a great one to have for creating fun, beautiful cards. Be sure to check out My Sentiments Exactly for amazing stamp sets.

Thanks so much for stopping by! XOXO -Katty

This is the card closed. It has a belly band to help keep it closed. I created the card cut file and then used a piece of Blue cardstock and cut out the base with my Pazzles Die Cut Machine. The patterned paper is from the Let Freedom Ring Collection.

This close up shows some of the marvelous 3D stickers from the Dad Sticker set. They are the perfect combination.

This is the other side of stickers. All of the stickers are a part of the 3D Dad sticker set with the exception of the pizza. That is part of the Chicago 3D sticker set. I had to add it as my hubby is a huge pizza fan!

As I mentioned earlier I added belly band. I used a strip of patterned paper from the Let Freedom Ring Philadelphia set and layered it over a strip of blue cardstock. I added the sticker Father knows best for the perfect decorative touch.

Layered Mother’s Day Card

Hello! Samantha with you to share some Mother’s Day card inspiration. I’m a clean and simple girl when it comes to card making, so today I have a simple, layered Mother’s Day card.

Supplies: Mom 3D StickersOne Big Happy Family 12″ Paper Pad

I wanted to use Paper House’s Mom 3D Stickers (they have so much dimension, that I knew they’d make a gorgeous focal point for any card). I found quit a few different paper collections that matched well with the Mom 3D Stickers but ended up using the One Big Happy Family 12 x 12 Paper Pad for the patterned papers on my card. I love the touches of metallic papers throughout the paper pad and thought they would blend nicely with the glitter on the mom sticker. I also love that gorgeous wood grain paper! I used the “you are so loved” from one of the cut apart tag sheets in the One Big Happy Family collection as a greeting on the card and to add that metallic touch. Adding a layer of light pink card stock behind the patterned paper layers helps pull everything together.

Since I tend to scrap boys, I always enjoy getting to use ribbon a pretty floral prints when I create cards. This layered Mother’s Day card was the perfect time to use ribbon, florals, lots of pink, and glittered embellishments! What’s your favorite part about creating Mother’s Day cards?

Samantha Taylor
Travel Memorabilia Envelope-010
I am super excited to be sharing my travel project for our team-up with Scrapbook Adhesives this week! If you’re like me, you collect a lot of memorabilia (tickets, maps, programs, etc.) when you travel. I used 2 of Paper House’s Clear Cuts (Southwest Adventures Feathers and Discover USA) and Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive Lines to create a 7 1/2″ x 11″ memorabilia envelope that’s durable enough to take with you when your traveling. It also has a fun pattern, so all the leftover bits that don’t fit a scrapbook page can go back into the envelop, and the envelope can be added right into your album.  I have a step by step photo tutorial on my blog, Taylor Stamped. Head on over to get all the details to make your own!

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today to share a scrapbook layout and a card I created with the fun Southwest Adventure paper crafting kit.  This wasn’t the first collection that caught my eye in all of Paper House’s new ones but alas I am here with my second set of projects using it because I like it so much!

All of the papers with the exception of the Kraft & peacock cardstock are from the collection. I love that the papers are double-sided and all coordinate perfectly! Takes the guess work out of it.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards

Carolyn back today with two baby cards. I’m so lucky to have a new boy and girl join the extended family last month. Of course I needed to make cards with the Hello Baby collections. The cards are 6″ x 6″ which I found easy to work with since I almost always make 12″ x 12″ layouts.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards Supply List

Kohlt Card 1

For the boy card, I cut out a rattle handle using my Silhouette Cameo. I made a circle in the grid paper and put a cut apart card behind it. I spelled the baby’s name with the cardstock stickers. Then I fused a plastic pouch of sequins and slid it behind the open circle. Some flags and  embroidery thread finished it off.

Kohlt Card 2

Here is the inside of the card. I like opening a card and seeing something beyond the writing so I cut several circles from the paper in the kit and added a sticker.

Liv Card 1

Here is the girl card. I used my Silhouette to cut the star out of the stripped paper and slid a plastic shaker of star sequins behind it. I wanted it to pop off the page more so I outlined it in black. I cut the words out of a cut apart card in the kit and used puffy and cardstock stickers to embellish.

Liv Card 2

I continued the sentiment from the front of the card on the inside. And I made use of that star I cut out! A few more stickers and it is done.

Thanks for checking out this post and have a great day!
