Our designers have been mixing and matching stickers and patterned papers and they have some fabulous cards to share today!
Christine took a similar approach using the same stickers but she went for Washi Tape instead of patterned papers! Find out how she made all 5 of these cards QUICKLY in the video below:

Hey everybody! Khristina here with my final project for this design team term with Paper House Productions. I have absolutely ADORED being part of this team and working with these gorgeous projects. Make sure to check out my channel in the upcoming months because I have lots of goodies left that I want to keep on using. We were given the task to work with our favorite product this round and for me, that’s the gorgeous paper pads. Today, I am playing with backing a cut file using the gorgeous Color Washed Paper Pad and created some quilted heart details with little scraps of colorful paper.
I started off by cutting a 12×12 cut file down so that I only had the diagonal designs left. Then, I went ahead and backed all of them except two with patterned paper leftovers from the Color Washed paper pad.
For the remaining two largest hearts, I created a quilted effect. This is a super easy way to use up scraps and create an impactful look. You just start at the outside edges layering tiny pieces of paper around the edges until you have filled in the entire shape. Easy peasy!
I used the packaging technique to add just a touch of mixed media in coordinating colors to my background yardstick and then added just a couple of foam thicker for a title element. Last, but definitely not least, I grabbed the Color Washed cardstock multi-pack and pulled out all of the butterflies. I added some dimensional adhesive to their wings and it was the perfect finishing touch.
I would love it if you stopped by my channel and checked out the process video that goes along with this layout. Once again, I have absolutely loved every project and every part of the design team experience here and appreciate all of you so very much!
Today, I got to have a ton of fun by choosing a product that I have been wanting to work with and haven’t gotten a chance to yet. I knew immediately that I wanted to use the Sticky Pix Clear Cuts Adventure Awaits with Foil Accents . I didn’t intend to use the whole pack…but….109 stickers later, I am in love with this super fun custom background!
I started out by tracing around a kitchen bowel (yep! very technical and sophisticated work) to create the orange background for my photo to be contained within. I knew that this was going to have to be pretty bold and not too busy because of the rest of my layout design ideas. I then used by sewing machine to add some stitching around the outside border of the page as well as around the circle element.
Next, it was time to go sticker crazy! I grabbed the sticker flip book and just started adding stickers to the entire background. I started with the biggest designs and moved by way thru all the way to the smallest designs.
Last step? I went ahead and added some patterned paper scraps behind my photo and a few more stickers from The Great Outdoors Camping Paper Crafting Kit on dimensional adhesive and the layout was complete!
I would love to have you stop by the process video and check out how this fun layout came together.
This project starts with a whole bunch of Paper House and Xyron goodness…..
They all come together to create this piece of home decor that captures our family trip to Arizona!
Paper House has great Travel 2D stickers for the states and the Succulent Faux Enamel Stickers work well with the desert vibe on this project. Think outside the box when you are using stickers….in this set, many of the plants are in cute little clay pots. Some were left that way, but some, I trimmed off the cactus to use on its own and layered it into torn pieces from the Color Washed 12×12 Paper Pad. The Sticky Pix Clear Cuts are also a great way to add interest to a project, and being clear, they can go right on your photos as well.
Something that brings this project all together is the beautiful washi tape. Love that the Paper House washi comes with a wide and narrow width tape in the same package! You can layer it up on plain white or black cardstock to create backgrounds, borders, and also die-cut to create a project title.
The Xyron Sticker Maker makes it easy to add adhesive to the letters, and if you need a little clean up of the extra adhesive, the Xyron Adhesive Eraser has got it covered….nothing like the perfect tools to bring a project together!
All the individual squares and layers on this project are held together beautifully by the Xyron Tape Runner. It has a strong adhesive that holds all the layers in place.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!

Hello Paper House Productions fans! I hope you are all having a great week so far. It’s Maria back on the blog today to show you how I set up and decorated my Traveler’s Notebooks, showcasing the new Unicorn Journey Book Set, Weekly Creative Journaling Stickers, Kawaii Stick-On Pockets, the Xyron Tape runner and a bunch of other supplies. Since I am traveling to Dubai and Athens the week that this blog post will go live, I thought this is the perfect opportunity to set-up my traveler’s notebooks so I can take it to the trip with me.
The Unicorn traveler’s journal will be set-up for my daily journaling. The white traveler’s journal will be set-up to write inspirational quotes that I like. I have a YouTube process video for you today so I will keep this blog post short. Here are some photos
Here’s what it looks like inside:
I used my Xyron tape runner to adhere embellishments on my pages which is why I also bring it with me when I travel.
The photo on the left side is my daily journal, and the photo on the right is where I wrote my favorite quotes.
Here’s my process video:
I hope I have inspired you today to set-up your own traveler’s journal. The supplies I have used are listed and linked. Have a wonderful day!
Hi everyone! It’s Laura here with you today! Are you or your kids into the superhero craze? Love Batman (TM), Superman (TM) , and all the other heroes? Well, if you do, then Paper House has got you covered with their awesome 3D stickers and washi!
Smash, Pow…..these Justice League (TM) superhero cards are ready to bring birthday wishes, or congratulations, or even just a hello I’m thinking of you, and you are a superstar! With 3D stickers and washi, you can create cute, quick and easy cards!
This card has a border of the thin washi that comes in the Superman Logo Washi Tape set and the center strip has the wide washi with the thin washi as borders. The Supergirl (TM) 3D Justice League Chibi Heroes Puffy Stickers definitely give this card some “POW”!
Nanananana….Next is Batman (TM)!
More super cute superhero in a card! This one is layers of lovely thin and wide Batman (TM) Logo Washi Tape set on a piece of plain cardstock, then the edges are trimmed up and a circle punch used:
This creates the fun to highlight “Little Batman” (TM) and some smashing sentiments!
And last but not least:
It’s a bird, it’s a plane…..well….you know….lol. How cute is this 3D puffy sticker Little Superman (TM)? A few puffy sticker stars and a little washi, and this card is perfect to zip along those birthday wishes!
Wondering about the backgrounds on these cards? I used some Distress Oxide Inks….they are applied to a mixed media mat, then sprayed with water, and then you drag basic white cardstock through the color on the mat. Use a heat gun to dry, but you could air dry as well. They make a great background for our superhero 3D stickers to soar!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back for a lot of great inspiration all month long!
Hi everyone! Laura here with you today to share a bright and “Just Beachy” LO created with the beautiful rich colored, foil accented papers, matching stickers, and alphas, found in the Paper House Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad.
These paper pads have so much in them to play with with!! The great journal type cards you can layer up (the starfish and the “splish splash”) and also the cute stickers you can use for fun accents around your pictures. The quality of the heavy cardstock stickers from Paper House is amazing!
The foiled papers are great to use as an accent….here I just cut a 2&1/2″ strip of the paper and then cut it into different widths.
They are arranged at different heights under the edge of the paper before being glued down. A little tip to make them easier to work with….once I thought the pattern of the paper strips looked good, I gently lifted the paper mat, and used a strip of double stick tape to hold all the paper strips together. Then I could move them around where needed to glue them onto the page, without having to worry about them shifting out of place. I curled them up slightly to give them a little more of a fringe effect.
Another bonus is having matching alphas right in the Sun Drenched paper pad!
Cute and colorful….I love having matching alphas to add titles to my page…..how about you? When I scrapbook, I tend to have one or two pages in a set of pictures that have journaling telling most of the story, for the other pages, I like my title to tell the story. It’s also great to have a couple of different alpha options included to make the title a little more interesting.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to check out all the fun inspiration this month using the Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad!
Supplies Used: Paper House Sun Drenched 12×12 Paper Pad
I used a piece of the marbleous paper and matted the black card stock on it to make all of the colors pop off the page! I love all of the bright colors in this layout, it makes me smile. I also love the addition of the Kawaii Flake Stickers. They are such cute little elements to make your layout or any project special! My favorite element on my layout is the Kawaii Stick On Pocket, I love how I can add extra journaling and tuck it into the pocket.
