Christmas Joy Cards

CarolynCircle2Hello! Carolyn here to show you three really fun Christmas cards. I used the Christmas Joy Life Organized collection. All three cards required my Silhouette Cameo and corresponding files from their store to cut the images. I just love how they turned out!

Supplies: Christmas Puffy Sticker, Christmas Epoxy Sticker, Christmas Rice Paper Border Sticker, Peace Joy and Love 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Memories 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Joy Tags 12″ Double Sided Foil Scrapbook Paper, Merry and Bright 3D StickerChristmas Magic Cardstock Multi Pack.

snowmancard3PH

This snowman card is a piece of 12 x 12 white cardstock folded and then cut in half. I cut a square of the stripped paper and a slightly smaller square of brown paper. The first layer of the snowman is brown, then white, then red. I finished it off with some buttons and google eyes from my stash and Life Organized puffy stickers.

windowcardPH

The window card is a layer of red paper, then white, then brown. The reindeer, trees and green strip are from the rice paper border stickers. The stars are a mix of epoxy and puffy stickers and the sentiment is from the cardstock multi pack.

candycanecardPH

The candy cane card is a layer of brown paper that I back-stitched with embroidery thread before adhering it to the white cardstock. I cut those candy canes a few times before getting the stripes to line up the way I wanted! The center stickers are 3D and the surrounding stars are epoxy stickers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now I just need to decide who gets to receive these cards!

Christmas Card with Gift Card Holder

Happy Holidays! Samantha here with you. I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I LOVE this time of year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you’re like me, you love adding a hand made touch to your gifts, especially if you giving something like a gift card. Today I have a handmade Christmas card with gift card holder to share with you.

Supplies: Christmas Joy Tags, Christmas Joy Gold Dot, Christmas Joy Merry & Bright 3D Sticker, Christmas Joy Rice Paper Border Sticker, Christmas Joy Stick On Pockets, Christmas Joy Flake Stickers, Christmas Joy Epoxy Stickers

As always, Christmas Joy has so many fantastic coordinating embellishments that I had a hard time choosing just a few to use. I love adding embellishments in a collage style cluster. It’s a great way to get lots of embellishments on the card without it feeling cluttered.

For a simple yet pretty way to hold a gift card add a coordinating Stick on Pocket on the inside of the card.

How do you like to ad hand made touches to your holiday gifting?

Christmas Joy = Christmas cards!

Julie Tucker-Wolek Circle 2Hi everyone! Julie with you here today, and I wanted to share some Christmas cards I made for my daughter’s teachers! Every year, we give them each a Starbucks gift card for Christmas, and I made these cards to put them in.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the ‘Christmas Joy’ collection, and believe it or not I used only TWO sheets of paper to make these EIGHT cards! Paper House Productions tag paper was perfect for my cards, because there was just the right number to work on my cards!

13

The journal tags were also perfect to add just a touch of stickers to my cards!

14

I also wanted to make sure each card said ‘Merry Christmas’ on them, so I added a strip of washi tape to the bottom of each one!

Project Pad Cards

Hello! Samantha here with you. Paper House’s Project Pads are super versatile and easy to work with.  I’m sharing two project pad cards with you today to showcase how pretty these pads are. At the end of this post there is also a link to a bonus home decor project using a project pad.

Supplies: Hearts ProjectColor Washed Paper Pad, Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers, Family Planner Stickers

There are multiple sizes of hearts in the Heart Project pad. To create a simple focal point for a card, just layer up a few different sizes and colors of heart. Using dimensional adhesive helps take the card from “ok” to “wow” and gives it a more finished look. You can also mail cards using dimensional adhesive without having to pay any extra postage! Finish your card by adding sentiment stickers. I used some planner stickers on this card to make it a birthday card.

If you like using patterned paper, you can start your card with a pretty piece of patterned paper. Then choose some hearts from the project pad that coordinate with your patterned paper. Too keep everything from getting too busy, I used hearts that were very similar on this card. Group them together in the center of the card for a fun focal point. Add a clear sticker at the bottom for a seamless sentiment.

Hearts and Feathers Project Pad Cards

CarolynCircle2It’s Carolyn back today to show you 6 different cards using the hearts and feathers project pads. The project pads have heart and feather shapes that are easy to punch out. They are so easy to use and match so well with the Color Washed Paper Pad and the Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers. Making these cards was a piece of cake!

Supplies for Project Pad Cards: Hearts Project Pad, Feathers Project Pad, Bohemian Friends Clear Stickers, Color Washed 12″ Paper Pad, Teacher Puffy Sticker.

I covered this card with gesso so the paint would not ruin the cardstock. I then dripped watercolors down the cardstock. The sentiment is from the Bohemian Friends sticker sheet.

heartfriendcardpaperhouseproductions1

For this card, I layered some punched hearts. I used a black Tombow marker to outline the hearts and add some fake stitching. The sentiment is stamped with black ink with a stamp from My Sentiments Exactly.

HeartCardPaperHouseProductions1

This anniversary card is all hearts! I love how hearts can make flowers. I used alpha stickers from the Color Washed Paper Pad.

For my final heart card, I used the Color Washed Paper Pad for the background and border stickers. The sentiment is from the Bohemian Friends sticker sheet and the twine is from my stash.

I combined the Feather Project Pad with the Teacher Puffy Stickers. How awesome are these patterns and colors?!

My last card is a combination of feathers and Bohemian Friends stickers. I love the layers that the feathers can make.

That’s all for today. I hope you’ve been inspired to use some hearts and feathers on your projects!

Adding Color to Acetate Papers

Julie Tucker-Wolek Circle 2

Hi everyone! Julie here with you today sharing what I created with some awesome Tombow Twintone dual-tip markers along with Paper House Productions ‘Wicked Good’ collection.

Since I was using a photo of my daughter’s Halloween costume from 2015, and it wasn’t your ‘typical’ Halloween colors, I grabbed the Paper House Productions acetate web paper from ‘Wicked Good,’ and then took four of the Tombow markers and colored in all the white areas of the acetate paper to match her costume!

Fall Thank you Card/Business Card Holders

KattyCircle2

Hello friends! Katty here to share a fun project. I wanted to create some Fall themed Thank you cards for my customers. I was able to use some of the amazing  Autumn Woods Collection to create cards that also function as Business Card Holders.

FullSizeRender 14 copy

Supplies Used: Autumn Woods Epoxy Sticker, Autumn Woods Stick on Pockets, Autumn Woods Washi Tape Set, Autumn Woods Flake Stickers, Summer Fun Washi Tape, Marbleous 12″ Paper Pad

I began by cutting out squares from the Marbles 12″ paper pad. I cut out two of each square.  I used papers that coordinate with the Autumn Woods collection. I glued the two matching squares back to back. The back side will provide an area for a hand written note.

IMG_4623 copy

I used the beautiful Autumn Woods Stick on Pockets on the front side. I can slide my business card directly inside. I used some of my own Thank You stickers on the front side and then used several embellishments to make the front pretty. I made several different designs keeping each one simple and sweet.

IMG_4625 copy

I added some of the Autumn Woods washi tape and Epoxy stickers. On other Cards I used the Summer Fun washi tape and some of the Autumn woods flake stickers, which are so cute.

I love how these turned out. I think it will be fun for my customers to receive these in their packages. Thanks so much for stopping by! XOXO -Katty

Sometimes Sympathy…

Shannon Circle2Let’s be honest for a second, there’s a subject that memory keepers and moment documenters kind of dance around, or have a hard time sharing, and that is death. It’s a memory no one cherishes or likes to address. It’s necessary though, because it’s part of life. The point is, simple kindnesses like I’m sorry/thinking of you/sending prayers and sympathy cards can mean all the difference in a grieving person or persons day.  Shannon joining you today to share a sympathy card created combining Paper House Products and a stamp from My Sentiments Exactly.

PHP:MSE Blog Post, Shannon M.

I’m glad that companies like MSE (My Sentiments Exactly) make stamps for this purpose. MSE has clear stamps and the more traditional wood stamps, there truly is something for everyone! They created a really beautiful sentiment stamp that I used along with some Paper House Productions products to create a sympathy card.

Paper House Productions products used: Bohemian-Friends Clear Stickers, Our Wedding Clear Stickers, Feathers 12″ Acetate Paper, Southwest Adventure Paper Crafting Kit , Hearts Project Pad, Butterflies Project Pad, Feathers Project Pad, Frames Project Pad & Nautical Flip Album

PHP_MSE Deepest Sympathy, Shannon M.

The picture doesn’t really touch upon on all the gold, and while gold may not be a traditional mourning color, it is a celebration of someone’s life and hope for those left here to grieve. I see nothing wrong with sending “love and light” someone’s way. Smiles are what actually make the world go ’round. Here’s a better shot of all the details.

PHP:MSE Sympathy:Close Up, Shannon M.

Have a great week, thanks for letting me share with you!  ❤
