Samantha Taylor
Travel Memorabilia Envelope-010
I am super excited to be sharing my travel project for our team-up with Scrapbook Adhesives this week! If you’re like me, you collect a lot of memorabilia (tickets, maps, programs, etc.) when you travel. I used 2 of Paper House’s Clear Cuts (Southwest Adventures Feathers and Discover USA) and Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive Lines to create a 7 1/2″ x 11″ memorabilia envelope that’s durable enough to take with you when your traveling. It also has a fun pattern, so all the leftover bits that don’t fit a scrapbook page can go back into the envelop, and the envelope can be added right into your album.  I have a step by step photo tutorial on my blog, Taylor Stamped. Head on over to get all the details to make your own!

3L Adhesive & Paper House Productions Blog Hop ProjectI used one of the keepsake envelopes to create a “faux”shaker card. I cut the saying out of a piece of paper from the Paradise Found Florida Paper Crafting Kit. The envelope already has adhesive on the back.  Worked like a charm and was super quick and easy!

Southwest Adventure Scrapbook Layout, Card & Free Cut Files

melinda-beltran2-1

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today to share a scrapbook layout and a card I created with the fun Southwest Adventure paper crafting kit.  This wasn’t the first collection that caught my eye in all of Paper House’s new ones but alas I am here with my second set of projects using it because I like it so much!

Paper House Productions Southwest Adventure Paper Crating Kit Sc

Here’s my finished layout. I used papers and elements from the Southwest Adventure paper crafting kit. The papers and elements were the perfect compliment to pictures of my beautiful niece Taylor.

The papers in the kit also include journaling cards of various sizes and with a variety of sentiments.

the paper crafting kit also includes a sheet of fantastic cardstock stickers. Here is one that I added a couple of flat back metallic pearls.

Here is another cardstock sticker. I used some dimensional tape underneath it to give it some extra lift.

Now for my card

Southwest Adventure Epic Birthday Card

Here’s a look at my completed card. I once again used the Southwest Adventure paper crafting kit to create my card. All of the papers with the exception of the Kraft & peacock cardstock are from the collection. I love that the papers are double-sided and all coordinate perfectly! Takes the guess work out of it.

Here is a side view to show you the various layers. I used some foam tape to give them some lift.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards

photo-of-carolyn

Carolyn back today with two baby cards. I’m so lucky to have a new boy and girl join the extended family last month. Of course I needed to make cards with the Hello Baby collections. The cards are 6″ x 6″ which I found easy to work with since I almost always make 12″ x 12″ layouts.

Hello Baby Boy and Girl Cards Supply List

Kohlt Card 1

For the boy card, I cut out a rattle handle using my Silhouette Cameo. I made a circle in the grid paper and put a cut apart card behind it. I spelled the baby’s name with the cardstock stickers. Then I fused a plastic pouch of sequins and slid it behind the open circle. Some flags and  embroidery thread finished it off.

Kohlt Card 2

Here is the inside of the card. I like opening a card and seeing something beyond the writing so I cut several circles from the paper in the kit and added a sticker.

Liv Card 1

Here is the girl card. I used my Silhouette to cut the star out of the stripped paper and slid a plastic shaker of star sequins behind it. I wanted it to pop off the page more so I outlined it in black. I cut the words out of a cut apart card in the kit and used puffy and cardstock stickers to embellish.

Liv Card 2

I continued the sentiment from the front of the card on the inside. And I made use of that star I cut out! A few more stickers and it is done.

Thanks for checking out this post and have a great day!

Discover USA Birthday Card

samantha-taylor-hs-medium-sizeHello! Samantha here with you today to showcase the new Discover USA collection. This might be the most versatile collection I have ever worked with. I knew I was going to like this collection (the colors and patterns are right up my alley), but I didn’t realize how much I would fall in love with it. I had so many ideas, I had a hard time deciding what project to start with, my nephew has a birthday coming up so I decided to start with a  birthday card.

Everything you need for this project can be found in the Discover USA Paper Crafting kit, but here’s the individual supply list as well:

I really love the puffy stickers from Paper House. They add dimension, a bit of texture, and a whole lot of fun while managing not to look childish or cheap. These are not the puffy stickers of your childhood. They are durable and high quality.

This fun tractor sticker is from the Discover USA cardstock sticker sheet. It’s a flat sticker that I used a bit of foam adhesive to pop up. The mix of puffy and cardstock stickers gives this card a lot of texture, which makes it the perfect card for a 5 year old!

Discover USA is fast becoming a staple in my craft room, and I know you’re going to fall in love with it too. Like I said, I had a hard time deciding where to start, so as soon as I finished this card, I started a layout. Here’s a sneak peek of it.
