FEELING PLAYFUL

Hi everybody. Have you seen the Stargazer collection by Paper House? Seriously, if you haven’t, go check it out. This collection is perfect for those little boys who collect gems and rocks as a hobby. My son, Edward loves collecting rocks and gems. He is so fascinated by them. Often at times, he will come at me with a random fact on where a certain mineral came from and how it forms. I am always dumb-founded by how smart he is.

These papers are soooo pretty in person. Several of the sheets of patterned paper has gold foil on them and they are beautiful. I cut the circles from patterned paper. Then I mounted them on the page using foam squares and glue.

I added the gold and black heart from my stash. Then I added a few of the stickers from the Stargazer sticker packs. They are so shiny and pretty. 🙂

I added a variety of strips of patterned paper and stickers to pull this layout together and to help frame the photos into a nice design.

FEELS LIKE HOME

Good morning creators. I have a fun layout to share with you today using the Color Washed Paper Pad and a variety of stickers! This summer, my sister went to Maine for a long weekend with her husband. I love this photo of them outside!

To begin, I trimmed the green and blue patterned paper to measure 8 1/2″x11″. Then I trimmed a sheet of white cardstock to measure 7 1/2″x10″ and mounted it to the center of the base. Then I tore the patterned papers, randomly to create a fun mat for my layout.

I bought a pack of the snap shots stickers a few months ago while I was looking for puzzles to buy for my son. So glad to finally use them on a layout. I added the “sunshine” word sticker from my stash.

I added the washi, die cut and feels like home sticker from my stash. Then I added a cluster of stickers at the top right corner of the layout. Love these Discover the World 3D stickers. The heart sticker came from the Life Organized Sticker pad.

I used a ruler and pen to journal my story at the bottom then I added a few additional stickers to complete the layout.

Color Washed LOVE

Hi everybody. I’m just taking a moment to share this layout I created using some papers and stickers from the Color Washed paper Pad and stickers. If you love this collection, you’ll be happy to know that Paper House has a travel notebook in this style! Check it out here. I love how vibrant the colors are in this collection. It’s the perfect collection for scrapbooking those New Years Eve photos or in my case photo. I love this selfie I took of my husband and I celebrating.

I got a little creative with this layout. Even though it’s a photo taken on New Year’s Eve, I decided to create a “love” themed layout. Why not… what a great photo!

I used lots of stickers on this layout. The butterfly was punched from a scrap piece of paper that had different splashes of paint… It was so pretty that I thought it would be perfect for punching a butterfly die cut out of the scrap to use on my layout. I decorated the center of the butterfly using a button and some embroidery thread.

I cut a banner sticker in half and adhered it at the top of the layout. Then I stamped the “fantastic” sentiment inside the word banner.

The Sunflowers were hand-made using a similar technique used to create the butterfly, but instead of using a punch, I used a stamp then I fussy cut the image out of the paper.

The “love” sticker was actually white. I used a light blue marker from Altenew to change the color. 🙂 Lots of clever ideas on this layout to stretch out my supplies!
