Christmas Joy Cards

CarolynCircle2Hello! Carolyn here to show you three really fun Christmas cards. I used the Christmas Joy Life Organized collection. All three cards required my Silhouette Cameo and corresponding files from their store to cut the images. I just love how they turned out!

Supplies: Christmas Puffy Sticker, Christmas Epoxy Sticker, Christmas Rice Paper Border Sticker, Peace Joy and Love 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Memories 12″ Double Sided Scrapbook Paper, Christmas Joy Tags 12″ Double Sided Foil Scrapbook Paper, Merry and Bright 3D StickerChristmas Magic Cardstock Multi Pack.

snowmancard3PH

This snowman card is a piece of 12 x 12 white cardstock folded and then cut in half. I cut a square of the stripped paper and a slightly smaller square of brown paper. The first layer of the snowman is brown, then white, then red. I finished it off with some buttons and google eyes from my stash and Life Organized puffy stickers.

windowcardPH

The window card is a layer of red paper, then white, then brown. The reindeer, trees and green strip are from the rice paper border stickers. The stars are a mix of epoxy and puffy stickers and the sentiment is from the cardstock multi pack.

candycanecardPH

The candy cane card is a layer of brown paper that I back-stitched with embroidery thread before adhering it to the white cardstock. I cut those candy canes a few times before getting the stripes to line up the way I wanted! The center stickers are 3D and the surrounding stars are epoxy stickers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now I just need to decide who gets to receive these cards!

Christmas Decor DIY with Paper Pads

Shannon Circle2Have you ever heard the phrase, sometimes less is more? Today, I am showing you an easy way to add a lot of impact with just a few (7 to be exact) feathers from the incredibly versatile Project Pads offered at Paper House…these Project Pads can be used for a multitude of projects.

I used the Feathers Project Pad for the altered frame you see below.  Yes, that’s it. That’s all I needed to create the effect needed, which was golden, feathery, white and gentle.

I bought a bare frame and painted it as shown.

Next, I actually covered the glass pane that came with the frame with chalkboard paint. I then got to work hand lettering the fitting lyrics, and then went over them with white glitter glue so there was a bit of magic. Adding two tacks (eyeball this) in each corner, created the perfect placement for the feathers. I  used a hole punch to punch holes in each feather, going for different lengths  and sizes.  Green twine was the perfect touch as the feathers were strung “on the line”.   After the twine was pulled taught and  wrapped around the tacks, I added a bow and bell for each corner.   A little  glitter added here and there, and  we can call the project  finished !  Thanks for letting me share with  you!

PHP FEATHERS Project, 11-2017, Shannon M.

I wanted  you to see a close up of those gold foil feathers because they are really, really perfect for the holidays as a perfect punch of holiday shine.  Just take a look!!

I hope I could inspire you to create something for others or yourself in preparation of the upcoming holidays! Have a great day!

December Planning

Hello, TinaGale here with my December planning pages. I couldn’t wait to use the new Christmas Joy collection in my memory planner. The colors and images are stunning.

You can view the collection and my thought process in this video along with my weekly spread. Memory Keeping Planner video

Supplies used: Christmas Joy epoxy stickers, puffy stickers, cardstock stickers, sticker flakes, epoxy clips, puffy clips, corner stickers, washi, rice paper

The washi is a favorite of mine because you can use it on all your pages to create harmony among them and it’s so economical. The gold foiling Merry Christmas washi is a perfect touch.

I left plenty of room so I can add in our memories through the month. I hope you enjoyed a look into my memory keeping and will give it a try.

Christmas Card with Gift Card Holder

Happy Holidays! Samantha here with you. I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I LOVE this time of year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you’re like me, you love adding a hand made touch to your gifts, especially if you giving something like a gift card. Today I have a handmade Christmas card with gift card holder to share with you.

Supplies: Christmas Joy Tags, Christmas Joy Gold Dot, Christmas Joy Merry & Bright 3D Sticker, Christmas Joy Rice Paper Border Sticker, Christmas Joy Stick On Pockets, Christmas Joy Flake Stickers, Christmas Joy Epoxy Stickers

As always, Christmas Joy has so many fantastic coordinating embellishments that I had a hard time choosing just a few to use. I love adding embellishments in a collage style cluster. It’s a great way to get lots of embellishments on the card without it feeling cluttered.

For a simple yet pretty way to hold a gift card add a coordinating Stick on Pocket on the inside of the card.

How do you like to ad hand made touches to your holiday gifting?

Christmas Joy = Christmas cards!

Julie Tucker-Wolek Circle 2Hi everyone! Julie with you here today, and I wanted to share some Christmas cards I made for my daughter’s teachers! Every year, we give them each a Starbucks gift card for Christmas, and I made these cards to put them in.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the ‘Christmas Joy’ collection, and believe it or not I used only TWO sheets of paper to make these EIGHT cards! Paper House Productions tag paper was perfect for my cards, because there was just the right number to work on my cards!

13

The journal tags were also perfect to add just a touch of stickers to my cards!

14

I also wanted to make sure each card said ‘Merry Christmas’ on them, so I added a strip of washi tape to the bottom of each one!

Fall Utensil & Napkin Holder & Place Card

Melinda Circle2

Hello crafty friends! It’s Melinda and it is my turn to share with you today! Here is what I came up with. I created this super fun and easy fall place card and utensil holder!

Napkin Utensil Fall Holder Place Card 650

Supplies Used:  Autumn Woods Scrapbook PaperPumpkin Spice Scrapbook Paper, Autumn Air Scrapbook Paper, Autumn Woods Cardstock Sticker

fall napkin holder SVG cut file Paper House Productions Design

Here is a closer look at the completed double pocket utensil and napkin holder. I created the SVG file for the double pocket and then cut it out in plain green cardstock. I then used some of the gorgeous patterned paper to cut out some mats. Once that was done, I used some of the beautiful cardstock weight stickers to embellish. It was very easy and the results are fantastic.

Next I created a simple place card. I let the beauty of the patterned paper shine by cutting out a mat with that gorgeous border. I then added a few of the cardstock stickers and then wrote the name. Super easy. I let the stickers and paper do all of the work!
