What I have done here is use the Graveyard 3D Shimmer in front of the coffin box and the Ghost 3D Shimmer hanging off the side of the box. I also added some of the Halloween Diecut Pack as well as a few Scary Sculpted Stickers here and there.

Here I used the Raven Pattern Paper in the shadow box. I also cut the moon out of the All Hallows Moon pattern paper and added that to the right top corner . I popped up a diecut of a moon as a layer to the same corner.  I also  used a sticker bat and a diecut bat along with a diecut title.

There you have it a nice Halloween piece to add to your Halloween Home Decor!

Happy Hauntings!!!

DIY Christmas Countdown Chalkboard with Shimmers

Hi Paper House fans! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the Shimmers projects over the last couple weeks!  Aren’t they a fun product!?!  Today I have a quick and easy Countdown Chalkboard to share that uses some of the Christmas Shimmers!

I completely love this Rudolph! Not only does he light up but his nose blinks!  It’s so fun!

shimmers4

And Santa lights up all over too!  Check out this video to see a quick peek into how I put it together and how they light up!  These two Shimmers are bigger but Paper House also has several that are smaller and banner style!

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that I picked up the chalkboard for $3.00 in a big box store – any kind of chalkboard will do! I liked that this one had some white doodling on it already!

Halloween Frames With 3D Shimmers Lighted Embellishments

Hello Paper House fans!  It’s Lee-Anne here today and because Halloween is only days away,  I thought I would create a Halloween themed home decor project.  When my children were small, I used to go crazy decorating for Halloween but now not so much. This project gave me the push I needed to create something for the occasion.  With the fun new 3D Shimmers Lighted Embellishments, I knew I wanted to create some frames to put on my shelf in my studio.  I love the way they light up.

Halloween Frames Supply List

I began with three black 8 inch by 8 inch square frames and cut my patterned papers down to 7 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches and adhered them on top of the glass.

img_5036

I added my 3D Shimmer Lighted Embellishments about one inch from the top of the frame and made sure they were centered and stuck them down being sure that the ribbon for each of the Shimmers were tucked underneath. This ensures that if you want to repurpose them in the future for hanging, you still are able to use them.

img_5036-version-2

To complete each frame, I added some 3D stickers on the top center area of each frame and also added some stickers to the paper area and also added the word stickers from the Scary Sculpted Sticker set to the bottom middle of each frame.

I hope you enjoyed my project and are inspired to use these wonderful 3D Shimmers Lighted Embellishments on your next project.  Happy creating!

Halloween Banner

Hey Scrappy Friends!
Lisa here with you today to share a fun Halloween banner I created with some new goodies from Paper House.

Halloween Banner Supplies:

halloween-banner-close-up-1

I hand cut my banner using The Raven and Bats Scrapbook Papers and  backed them with black cardstock. I cut 2 of each color. I roughed up the edges a bit and then stitched around the edges with black thread. I took two black doilies and cut them in half placing half on the top of each banner. I then took a punch and punched a small piece for each banner. Finally I machine stitched using a zig zag stitch:

I added two eyelets to each banner to thread my twine through. I also added some ribbon on each end of the banners to hold them in place. The black ribbon is what I cut off of the 3D Lighted Shimmers. They come with the ribbon so you can hang them.

Check out this super duper cute ghost! This is one of the new Halloween 3D Lighted Shimmers. Isn’t he adorable?! I added the “Boo” sticker from the Scary Sculpted Stickers.

This “Spooktacular” sticker is from the 3D Stickers. I just love all the dimension they add to my banner!

Here is another 3D Lighted Shimmers. Check out the cool haunted mansion! I added the “Creepy” Sculpted Sticker. So fast and easy!

The “Halloween Hauntings” sticker is from the Cardstock Sticker Sheet. I just popped it up with foam tape to give some more dimension to this banner piece. The “owl” is from the 3D Sticker Sheet.

All 3 windows light up at different times:

It’s kind of hard to see the light on the ghost, but if you look closely you can see it right above his nose:

I just love all the dimension these fun Halloween embellishments gave my banner and it was so fun and easy to create!

Merry Christmas

Here’s a page featuring the new Snowflake 3D Shimmer, it lights up at the touch of a button!  I have also used some gorgeous Christmas papers, and various stickers. The sweater stickers, red glittered paper, and adorable gingerbread men really made me smile, and made me think of all the wonderful Christmastimes I’ve had with family.  The photo is of my son sledding on Long Island, New York, during a visit there. There’s not a lot of snow where I live now in Houston, so this was a pretty exciting day for everyone!

Supplies Used:

To make this layout I put a piece of foam core board underneath the photo with to give it some dimension. This also leaves space to tuck flowers and things into. I put the 3D Shimmer snowflake on, then the acetate snowflakes, Gingerbread, and Ugly Sweater Stickers.

img_6316-christmas-upper-right

To create more texture I applied gesso, gold lace, antique glass glitter, microbeads, a reindeer die cut, flowers, leaves, a chain, and charms. I rubbed on pearl mica powder on top of the gesso, and gold mica powder on the edges of almost everything.

img_6317-christmas-lower-right

I painted some areas with cobalt blue water color, and used aqua and bark colored watercolor pencil in others. I used a frost spray on a piece of memory glass, you can see it to the right of the photo.

Thank you so much for looking, and have a great week!

Autumn Is In The Air

Hello Paper House fans! It’s Lee-Anne here today and I wanted to share another Fall layout with you.  I simply can’t get enough of the Autumn Woods papers.  The papers are so gorgeous!

For my title “Autumn Is In the Air” I fussy cut it and popped it up with some foam adhesive squares.

For the top right photo corner, I added the floral paper and fussy cut the heart.

paperhouseoct7d

Using many of the paper strips, I adhered them on top of the plaid background paper and fussy cut the “colors of fall, changing colors, and autumn is in the air” words.

This layout came together quite quickly and the paper really showcases the photo of the mountain where I hiked recently.  Love, love, love this collection.

Be sure to check out all the products in the Paper House Productions online shop here.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day!

Autumn Is In The Air

Hey there!

The weather sure is changing here, it seems like summer just started and we are now already into fall weather.

Lisa here today to share a layout I created with the new Paper House Autumn Woods line. I love the crisp colors of red, orange, teal and brown in this gorgeous collection!

Autumn Is In The Air

Autumn Is In The Air Layout Supplies:

For my background, I used the Autumn Air paper and cut it in half, flipped one over and stitched them together. I added a few layers behind my photo using a few of the cards cut from Woodland Friends Tags paper. They were to small to fit behind my entire photo, so I cut them in half as well. I fussy cut the leaves from  the Autumn Woods paper and the foxes from the Woodland Friends Tags paper.

Autumn Is In The Air close up 3

I added a journal box and word strips that I fussy cut from the Woodland Friends Tags paper. I just love this cute little fox! Isn’t he adorable?

Autumn Is In The Air close up 2

Here is another adorable fussy cut fox:

Here is another leaf I fussy cut, curled up and tucked behind my journal card:

I finished the layout off with some black mist spatters.
